Our lawyers organized a legal clinic, helping both entrepreneurs and those aspiring to become with a variety of questions regarding their businesses. Many questions were asked about intellectual property, protection of ideas, trademarks, inventions, drawings, etc. We discussed what was the best way to choose: patents and designs, trademarks and copyright – how to do it, what and how to claim, and so on.

Evidently, the start-uppers were interested in legal forms most beneficial for their companies: should they go for incorporation? What conditions apply, what documents should be prepared, what contracts drafted, what clauses to be included? Should they think already of non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality, what should they consider while approaching their shareholder agreements? Employment, distribution, licensing and franchising contracts were discussed at length.
